Summer Pops Concert - Saturday, July 19 at 7:30 PM

The Bemidji Symphony Orchestra present Summer Concert featuring the Brethren Quartet!  The Brethren Quartet is from a group of professional vocalists who gather with a Christian heart to make music, as a ministry to themselves and others. At any given time Brethren may represented by as few as three or four and as many as twelve or fourteen men, performing with or without accompaniment. Their repertoire encompasses everything from traditional hymns to patriotic standards to contemporary popular music.

Brethren performs in many configurations, from Southern Gospel quartet to doo-wop group to chamber ensemble. These and other formats are available for hire for events of all kinds, including picnics and parties, business meetings and conferences, recording sessions and festivals. Brethren is also available for full-length concerts, particularly as part of a church or community concert series. Compensation can be arranged in the form of a fee or a good-will offering; the opportunity to sell Brethren recordings at an event is appreciated.

Patrick Vaughan is the founder  and director of the Brethren, and also performs with the Quartet.  Pat and his wife Margaret were classmates of Maestra Everett at Baylor University.  For more information visit the group's website at www.brethrengroup.com.
