Tune in to KCRB Sunday June 30th!
The Bemidji Symphony Orchestra's powerful May 5th performance of Brahms' German Requiem will be broadcast this Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 7:00 PM on Classical Minnesota Public Radio KCRB 88.5 FM in Bemidji. Along with outstanding guest soloists Edward Huls and Jennifer Swanson, the BSO was joined on stage by the Bemidji Chorale (Ms. Pat Mason, Director) and BSU's Bemidji Choir (Dr. P. Bradley Logan, Director). The performance was conducted by BSO Music Director, Dr. Beverly Everett. IN ADDITION . . . The MPR broadcast will also inlcude works from BSO's March 3rd concert featuring guest artists Native American flutist Keith Bear and composer Linda Tutas Haugen in Haugen's musical setting of the beloved Children's Book "The Old Turtle" by Douglas Wood. Also featured will be a piece by composer Russ Peterson "Between Two Cultures." Dr. Beverly Everett conducted the performance. Sunday evening. June 30, 2013. 7:00 PM. KCRB 88.5 FM.
