"Music and Peace" this Sunday, March 3 at Bemidji High School Auditorium, 3 pm

Native American flutist Keith Bear joins Dr. Beverly Everett and the BSO for The Fable of Old Turtle, an original work by Linda Tutas Haugen based on the children’s book, Old Turtle, by Douglas Wood.

Keith Bear is a world-renowned Mandan-Hidatsa storyteller and musician from North Dakota, and has performed throughout the US and Europe. Composer and narrator Linda Tutas Haugen has received numerous awards, fellowships, and prominent commissions for her work. 

Also on the program: The Planets (“Jupiter” & “Venus”) by Gustav Holst and Between Two Cultures by Russ Peterson.

Tickets at the door or at Lueken’s North, Brigid’s Pub, and online at brownpapertickets.com.  $20 for Adults; $15 for Seniors 62+; $10 for College Students with ID.  Students in grades K-12 are admitted FREE.
